Less than 2 months of COVID lockdown, and govt has been forced to announce economic packages (however flawed they may be), tax breaks, etc.

Kashmir had already been locked down for 7 months before COVID-19. Who will compensate Kashmiri businesses, daily wagers, service industry?
Right now, entertainment portals have made content available for free. Harvard has made some courses free. Kids everywhere are taking online classes.

Kashmir has been in Digital Darkness for 9 months. Students can't attend online classes or download content.
When people have a health issue, they go online, look up their symptoms and likely remedies

When lost/confused, they turn to GPS

When unsure of a term, they google it

When hungry, they quickly order in

Kashmiris have been unable to do these simple things for about a year now!
Will Kashmiris ever be compensated for all the lives lost, all the business lost, the precious academic time, the occupational seasons and the opportunities lost? Is there even a recognition of the magnitude of loss that people have suffered?
