I’ve set myself some fun homework of watching all of the winning best original and adapted screenplays at the Oscars from the last ten years. Might turn this into a thread to show you what I thought of each one.
The King’s Speech
Written by David Seidler

I really liked this film. I thought it was written so well and it made me laugh loads. I like how it focused so much on a stammer without being patronising and Colin Firth’s chemistry with Geoffrey Rush was just perfect. 4/5 stars.
I would have given it five stars if they abolished the monarchy at the end
The Social Network

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched this film over the years so I knew everything that was going to happen so it was a waste of time but I have to watch them all because I’m committed to the cause lol. 4/5 stars.
I hate every character and that’s why I like the film so much

I REALLY LIKED THIS FILM. I watched it with Matt the cat. Now I don’t speak cat but I think he thought it was great too. 5/5 stars.
I understand the Adam Driver hype now. What are Adam Driver fans called? Passengers? I assume I’m a passenger now?
