aang was so sad about the way things are now he was like wanna be besties meanwhile zuko woke up and was like wtf is “if we knew each other back then, do you think we could have been friends too” i’ll k*ll you b*tch
sokka kinda funny though maybe misogyny made some points
episode 12 and 13 are actually so well done with the parallels and zuko and aang’s backstories mirroring each other along with the transitions between their scenes academy award for this series
katara is so damn protective of aang
aang sees her as a grownup so his feelings for her are clearly hinted at meanwhile katara sees aang as a child so he’s always seen as childish and foolish from her pov

i like light-hearted filler episodes it's a nice break from the war and zuko's angst-filled teen(r)agehood
aunt wu kinda like the indian astrologers my mom used to keep mentioning to me and i'd be like sokka
am now halfway through season 3 and katara just became a bloodbender for reference but i have some thoughts
mai and zuko are annoying asf
like y’all are NOT the angsty badass moody in unison slay y’all think y’all are i just want them both to stfu when they’re together onscreen
sokka and suki are so adorable i was so sad when yue died like sokka lowkey has some ptsd from her death like when he kept trying to protect suki in the serpent’s pass episode
aang’s physical connection & tether to earth being katara makes so much sense like idk how to explain it but that episode w/ him unlocking his chakras to control his avatar state and talking about how much he loved katara but also not being able to let go of her was SO WELL DONE
i would die for toph no questions asked she is the best girl in the world i just wanna give her a hug and tell her she is the most capable STRONGEST most badass accomplished earthbender and bender in existence she is so fucking cool i’m signing papers to adopt her as we speak
the episodes w/out appa got me they rlly got me…yeah…when aang is so hurt upset & sad and appa is scared & alone & they can’t find him. they literally said appa is his lifelong companion & u can see how out of balance n sorts aang is w/out him cause it’s True yea i was BAWLING
on the episode when sokka and zuko decide to go and bust his dad out of prison
this episode really said look at the sokka and zuko parallels what with them wanting to earn their honor back in their separate ways and their girlfriend struggles with yue and mai and their contrasting relationships with their dads wow
sokka and suki are so cute
omfg not them using mai as a weapon against zuko this is fucked up he was genuinely sad about leaving her behind to go fight with and join aang

about to watch the final 4 episodes and i’ve been procrastinating it all day because i’ll never be able to watch the show for the first time ever again also i don’t know which show to emotionally attach myself to after this ones over :(
