You’ve just written a blog post.

The likelyhood of me reading it is 0.00001%.
Even if you send me the link.

Here’s how you make me read it.

A thread.
Day 1.

Write your blog post.
Publish it on your website.

Take 5 key quotes from the article and tweet them out.

Share peels, not the full onion.
Day 2.

Find the most important paragraph from the article and expand on it in a tweet thread.

Link to the full article at the bottom.
Day 3-10.

Share key quotes and ideas from your article every day or so on Twitter.

Further expand on some of the ideas.
Day 10-15.

Find THE most important sentence from the article and make a visual from it.

Share it on Instagram and Twitter.
Day 20.

Send out an email newsletter with your article in it.

By now you’ll have written lots of supporting ideas too, so this will be an expanded version of the article that first appeared on your website.
Day 25.

Expand on your article on your website after you’ve spent the last 20 days tweeting about it and emailing.

Go back to the step 1 with the new expanded article.
This is how you fully squeeze an article of all its knowledge and value, and this is really only the beginning.

I spoke about it in more detail in a podcast/video called Content+.

This tweet thread here is sharing ideas from that video.
