During the Rodney King riots, mobs raided the shops in LA & ran away with 5-6 pairs of sports shoes each. They were already wearing shoes. Same with raiding of electronic goods shops.

Last week, the mob broke open the showcase of a train station shop to steal water & cold drinks from it. Each carrying multiple bottles, while laughing & cheering.

2nd day of lockdown 1, and our industrial association sent out a message that the tapri chai wala's shop was ransacked. 2nd day. People were NOT hungry, they were assholes taking advantage of vacant streets.
