Monday?
Emphatic NO! Too many Monday holidays. Also traditionally a low day of the week for retail.

No to Manic Monday.

Tuesday...don't think so.
Monday holidays mean comic retailers would then need to receive new product during those holiday weeks... on Friday. Yeah, no!

That takes several days out of the typical production, distribution & delivery sequence.

Thursday? Too close to the weekend to be able to deal with order delivery issues, as well as the damage/shortage issues.

Friday? Like Thursday, too close to the weekend to be able to deal with delivery, damage and shortage issues.

Friday's not on our minds...

Saturday is already a strong day in retail. Making it New Comic Day ( #NCBD) would take away a second strong day each week.

Sunday?
Day of rest.
A *great* day to get out there with your friends and family to buy comics. A great day to sit under a tree on a warm day & read #comics! Not a great day to debut them.

Wednesday...
*Far enough away from Monday to work and not get mangled by holidays other than the occasional Christmas & New Years Day.

Wednesday...
* Far enough away from the weekend to give comics fans a big sigh in the middle of the week.
For Wednesday Warriors, it's like a mini-weekend!
