Here are some of my unsolicited tips

For beginners, you can follow the structure below: useable if ur building a scene

Setting - nasan sila, description ng lugar, ng suot etc
Character background - anong ginawa nung character bago sya napunta dun
Emotion - ano nafefeel nila, nireregla ba sila etc

Tip: Show dont tell

Example:

Tell: “Yeri has a crush on Sehun”
Show: “Hindi alam ni Yeri kung bakit pero sa tuwing dumadating sya sa opisina, si Sehun ang una nyang hinahanap”

- mas lantad yung emosyon sa pangalawa, mas mararamdaman ni reader

Writing is a two way street. Hindi lang ikaw yung nasa espasyo, nandun din ang magbabasa.

You can keep the reader engaged pag hindi ka straightforward magsulat. Kaya effective si show and tell. Kasi hindi spoon feeding ang nangyayari. Nagdedecipher si reader. Gumagana utak nya.

Another tip: keep it simple

You dont need to add so many adjectives and adverbs to make a point. Mas maganda register pag simple lang ang sentences.

Also try to avoid using passive sentences. Hanggang kaya active sana.
