Something as simple as being a good role model is impossible for our state's Republican leaders.

They know masks will help control spread and lead to us opening faster... YET

Abbott and most others refuse to wear one and others are actively encouraging people not to wear them.

It would cost them nothing. ZILCH.

Just show and encourage people to take simple basic precautions to limit the spread.

Push back on the idiots.

Correct misinformation.

Just the very basics of good leadership.

@texasdemocrats State Reps. & Sens, and city officials have done endless food drives, mask giveaways, & townhalls on unemployment and healthcare.

I've not seen our local Republicans do A SINGLE EVENT.

I have seen them refuse to wear a mask and complain about not opening faster.

The State pays me $600 a month (pre-tax) to be a state rep.

I WANT TO GO BACK TO WORK TOO!

My savings are going down fast. But, I have three 70 year-olds to be concerned about.

I can't feel safe for my family if we have leadership that's treating this like a joke.

I want our Governor to not cherry-pick the numbers. I want to TRUST in what he has to say.

I want all our leaders to take this seriously.

I want all our leaders to be good examples.

I want all our leaders to STOP treating this as a partisan issue.

... and just wear the f___ing mask.
