...this is a set of thoughts regarding social media that also coincides with an event driven by a geek/nerd-based ideology called the "incel movement".

The recent "Pink Pattern" social engineering attack began with someone using sexually manipulative selfies for the sake of clout-chasing; that pattern of selfies predictably led her to attract a stalker.

When the behaviour pattern was parodied, she tried to attack this account.
This thread is inspired partly by a change in perspective brought on during the past ten days' unexpected hiatus.

The entire episode is so absurdly trivial that it is almost seems surreal that it even happened....

...yet there are real ramifications that point to deeper issues.
