Just two new cases of #COVID19 announced in B.C. today.

That's the the lowest number since March 6.

When there were 21 total cases in the province.
Having just two new confirmed cases of #COVID19 in B.C. is obviously great news.

But cases of #COVID19 in B.C. are now at 325, their lowest level since March 19, exactly two months ago.

And hospitalizations are at 45, the lowest since March 23.

TODAY'S CHART
B.C. has had an average of 10.8 new #COVID19 cases a day the last five days, the lowest number for the five-day rolling average since a public health emergency was declared
reminder that by now we would have started to see the influx of new cases some predicted during The Weekend People Went Outside And We All Took Pictures https://twitter.com/j_mcelroy/status/1258948846631006208
Outside of concentrated outbreaks at specific places, B.C. has had low community transmission for weeks.

The clear evidence is that #COVID19 has stopped circulating widely.

It doesn't mean we should stop being cautious.

But we can breathe a *little* bit easier for now.
B.C. allows anyone who feels they need a test to get one.

They have for weeks.

There's now around 1500-2500 tests a day, and around 1% of people are testing positive.
