I don't follow Cammy, but this is definately what it means and feels like for the rest of us who are going to have to go through and find new weapons because they're not viable in endgame. Some people won't care. But a lot will. And it stings so bad. https://twitter.com/CammyCakesYT/status/1261329024762163200
For me too. Recently I lost all my personal clothing that I've amassed, some limited run items, international shirts from different countries, event apparel. And I was so...distraught over it. I will never get anything back. To spend years building my wardrobe into --
-- something that held memories, to suddenly loose it all was a painful low blow. This situation, the hours and days people spent grinding for god rolls, or rolls they want, will be thrown away similarly to how my clothes were. It sucks. It won't be viable in endgame content --
-- and that's a major focus for many players who have continued to stick with destiny through every release of content, good or bad. New players have endgame content to work towards all the time. But the vast majority are waiting for each new DLC, each new expansion, --
-- so they can get almost immediately into the end game again because that's where the content is. When you power level is challenged is the Endgame and that's where you want to use what you want to use, not to be forced to select certain things from a limited pool of items.
I used to be indifferent about Sunsetting returning. But then I remember how many beloved weapons I had to say goodbye to and let go because they were not viable in the content that mattered. Now my viewpoint is heavily against Sunsetting. End Thread.

TL;DR - Don't Sunset.
