Trump followers are doing the same thing with the Flynn investigation they did with the Russia investigation: pretending—vigorously and loudly—that intelligence authorities should not have been concerned about the activities of people in Trump's orbit.

Russia tried to influence the election to benefit Trump. And Trump campaign officials were eager to work with Russia on this.

Some of you patriots out there seem totally undisturbed by this, and ya'll act as if it shouldn't have been investigated at all.

Here we are with Flynn caught on multiple wiretaps of foreign nationals, secretly taking money from Turkey, and having convos with Russian that he lies about to the VP.

And again we get the faux-incredulity: "can you believe they wanted to look into this? CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?"

Well, yes, dear patriots, I can believe that U.S. intelligence is interested in the conversations and deals being had with foreign adverse powers. I sure can.
