I would like to begin by thanking Almighty Allah for giving me the opportunity to witnessed such success and this correspond to my dream since I was in primary school,

Alhamdulillah I made it well despite the obstacles and hardship along the process but everything is possible with hardworking and prayers.
Lots of us had such dream to be doctors but later was repudiated, before getting this opportunity.

I was a first year student in the Department of Geography at KUST Wudil, when @KwankwasoRM came and made an announcement via the SSG office to call for an interview for those with 9 credits in their O’level that 100 students would be sent to study medicine abroad.
Though before I went to the screening I was thinking that it was just a formalities as probably the government’s officials children had already occupied the list but still I had a hope since the interview was publicly announced via several media.
Fortunately I went to the screening and met all the requirements for the interview, then later aptitude test was set for those who met the requirements at Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education Kano.
Out of Almost Two Thousand Applicants, Over one thousand students have had qualified to study medicine during the interview but 100 students were the target, that is why the aptitude test was set and held in order to reduce the number of students to 100.
Alhamdulillah, I’m blessed for been among the successful ones. The Most interesting thing, in all such processes of the screening the students were selected based on merit, as I had no connection with any politician or someone in the government.
To the entire people that are thinking they can’t make it in life, actually you should never give up, the life is so flexible, and no condition is permanent, but always be the person to determine your future.

You’ve to make sacrifices in order to boost yourself first before someone assist you.
