FWIW, as a rookie Catholic radio producer some 15 years ago, I was warned to not book Norma by more than a few people, who never explained why but indicated that they did not feel her to be either trustworthy or predictable on live radio.
It& #39;s been a long time coming, but those of us who care deeply about the sanctity of life from natural conception to natural death need to take a long hard look at who we& #39;re appointing as the mouthpieces of our cause.
In these days where talking points are easily memorized and regurgitated, and political actors can toss prepared slogans to a crowd they know is desperate even for crumbs, if we don& #39;t remember that charity and truth are the basis for our movement, we will continue to get played.
