COVID hospital admissions % change since May 1:

Northeast: -41.8% (This was 31.1% yesterday)
North Central: -44.3%
Central: -32.6%
Southern: -63.7%

All 4 regions still passing this test to advance to Phase 3
Medical/Surgical beds available by region (rolling avg.):
Northeast: 17.6%
North Central: 41.4%
Central: 49.5%
Southern: 46.6%

Regions must be at or above 14% as one component of advancing to Phase 3. All 4 regions meeting this requirement right now.
ICU beds available by region (rolling avg.):
Northeast: 19.4%
North Central: 43.9%
Central: 51.5%
Southern: 35.4%

Northeast looking better and better.
5/19 summary:

Usual caveats: No contact tracing data available yet. But all 4 regions remain on track to move on to Phase 3 provided contact tracing numbers are there.

@GovPritzker did just say all 4 regions are on track to move to Phase 3.
One more: Don't be totally shocked if the Northeast Region positive % is flat or bumps up slightly tomorrow. It is about to lose a good day (15%) from its 7-day rolling average.

That doesn't mean the region isn't making progress.
