okay so, the hair colors the boys have in the โcant you see me?โ MV seem to have significance. only Soobin, Yeonjun and Taehyun have dyed hair. Going back into the โdream chapter: magicโ era, yeonjun has blue hair. the color blue is a symbol for trust and loyalty.
which at the time all the boys seemed to have trusted yeonjun. fast forward to the CYSM mv and yeonjun has yellow hair. yellow symbolizes betrayal and caution, which as we can tell, soobin and yeonjun donโt get along anymore, which could mean yeonjun did something to betray him,
or the other meaning, caution meaning yeonjun is dangerous and is hiding something and the boys need to be careful of him. it is also pretty clear that yeonjun is definitely hiding something. in โPUMAโ he says the lyrics โ they came catch my back, i canโt get caughtโ
possibly meaning that he has done something bad but no one will find out as he has people covering for him.
Soobin on the other hand has purple hair. the color purple symbolizes independence and awareness. one of the lyrics soobin sings is โonce again iโm left aloneโ and it appears that soobin distances himself from the rest of the group quite often.
little things like going on his phone while around the group and ignoring them (which also occurs in the magic island MV where he over uses his phone to the point that it dies)
Taehyun has red hair, the color red symbolizes anger and violence, which he undeniably has conflict with beomgyu resulting in beomgyu suffocating him.
STRAWBERRIES. it is set forth that there is a obsession with strawberries throughout the MV , from taehyun eating them and beomgyu having the blended ones on his hands. strawberries (when dreamt about) are a meaning of jealousy and enemies. which the members slowly becoming
enemies and growing apart is evident throughout the video.
the lyrics to โMagic Islandโ also seem to play a part in the continuation of the story in the new MV. while is has always been known that magic island is a significant song to the story plot, it makes more sense as of the new release. it is obvious that there are secrets.
Taehyun sings a line saying โ small island where our fumbling promises and secrets beganโ which meant all of the lying and secrets started when they reached magic island.
