One year ago, we had to witness the most offensive, disrespectful and patronizing scene in the history of Television where the GOT writers explain to me "a dumb viewer", why I am so dumb.

Here's a thread explaining why everything about this scene is wrong.
#IStandByDaenerys
Let's start with that clip.
For some reason Tyrion is kept a prisoner and not killed instantly. Like they wanted Dany to be mad and murdery except for the characters with plot armor.
Also Tyrion saying how "Varys was right" when at the time Varys betrayed Dany she hadn't done...
anything wrong, and he betrayed her because he just felt like the other northern guy who he bearly knew (AND SPENT THE ENTIRE SEASON FUCKING ABDICATING)was better for the throne cause some northern peasants liked him more than the woman he had spent half of the show supporting an
Now this is another moment where Tyrion feels sorry and sad for the people of KL totally forgetting he wanted their deaths a few seasons ago. But hey, he's a hippie now

And funny note about Jon saying "I won't justify what dany did" when he will do just that in a moment 😂
Now quick shoutout to how suddenly Dany doesn't want to rule and stay as queen. Now she's just like "thank u next Ima do me bye" and conquer the world.
Like weren't u just trying to sell me that she was power hungry and the throne blinded her? I guess not anymore chile...
Now we getting to the good stuff.Tyrion who by his level of intelligence appears to be one of the graduates of the class of 2020,who got his diploma by online classes dares to compare her liberation of Slaver's Bay to her liberation of KL like there's any correlation between them
Like he is straight up saying that burning SLAVERS is the same as burning civilians and that we should've seen it coming. And we know for a fact that a lot of people actually ate this up and swallowed it like cum without a 2nd thought of how messed up is comparing both situations
Now here Tyrion implies that the reason he guided her and joined her and became her hand was because of his own "vanity"??????
Like he just kinda forgot he actually helped her because he believed in her, in her morals, in what she stood for. He literally said it last season...
"without you we are all lost".
Also "our queen's nature is fire and blood"? Why is that a bad thing? Fire and blood is what saved y'all 3 eps ago and y'all had no problem with it
And people just can't change and are determined to be like their family? What a good message innit?
Now let's take a few seconds to laugh at Jon defending the same thing he said he wasn't gonna defend literally seconds ago 😂
And now. The icing on the cake.
"Everywhere she goes evil men die and we cheer her for it"
Till this day I still have yet to find out why that is a bad thing.

Tyrion stood there with his whole chest LITERALLY GIVING REASONS to why what she did before was justified. Like WTF?????
Like how do you expect me to believe she was always "mad" when you are literally giving me reasons why what she did before has nothing to do with what she did now??
Do you see the irony and contradictions with only 1 fucking sentence? This has to be a joke istg
Am i supposed to feel bad for the slavers of Astapor,Yunkai nd Meereen when you are literally telling me they are evil men?Should I feel bad for the khals when you're telling me me they were gonna do worse things to her?

He's literally contradicting the point he's fucking making
I mean why not just add "when she burned ice zombies to save Winterfell no one complained. They were ice zombies anyway. We should've seen it coming. RIP the night king"
And now here Tyrion says he "believed in her" contradicting YET AGAIN what he said seconds ago. But in the same sentence implying that it was because he loved her. Not because she stood against slavery, rape and pillaging. Not because she inspired him. Not because...
she fucking was going to save Westeros from Cersei and the ww, but because she was pretty and blond hair, and big boobs and "omg she seduced me with her women charms just like you Jon. We were such Fools"
And then some more blah blah blah. Tyrion giving him more reasons on why he should kill her, completely forgetting he was just by her side an episode ago and helped get her there and defended her. And ofc Jon still refusing cause hey we gotta have conflict even tho literally...
every single person with a brain could see what was coming.
Tyrion mentions Sansa and Arya and asks if they'll bend the knee and we know they won't.The ungrateful separatist Stark sect didn't like her when she was saving their lives, they won't like her now that she's blond Hitler
So basically these amongst many others are my main issues with this disgusting, condescending attempt of a scene
Just Tyrion gaslighting Jon for 9 minutes straight about committing regicide because what else he gon do now?Jon not wanting anything and being a vegetable as usual...
while both of them contradict themselves with previous things that had been said and done or just with things they had literally said moments ago.
Oh and ofc telling everyone who rooted for Dany we're stupid and they're smarter than us
D&D's Emmy winning writing ya'll. ENJOY. ✌
