I’m going to sarcastically state that men believe sword mastery is a key part of what makes them manly. They think this because of all of the sword masters in pop culture. Drop your favorite wielders of the blade who give boys unattainable goals of masculinity.

How many vampires could Blade take out at once? Who could live up to that?

I don’t remember He-Man or Lion-O being particularly skilled with the sword but it was their weapon of choice

Of course King Arthur was so skilled with the blade, he defeated the black knight
