I have a question for white people related to hydrochloroquine...

So you know how y’all are all debating weather or not to take it, is that really how it just works with you and your doctors? You just tell them what to prescribe and they do it? How is taking it an option?
You know the drug commercials where at the end it’s like “ask your doctor about x”? So y’all really just do that and get it? If I ask a doctor about any specific drug they are calling the cops.
I have bad tonsils and anytime I get sick they swell to a point it’s hard to breathe and I can’t swallow and it hurts tremendously. I know my body. I know how it works. I once asked for something for pain and they acted like I just asked a cop for ecstasy.
The level of pain, anxiety, or discomfort a black person has to exhibit to get a doctor to prescribe something is so high that you end up crossing a line into being unbelievable and then you’re in even more trouble.
When COVID was first starting I was very very sick. I thought I for sure had it. Huge fever. Waited at the doctor for hours after I called and they told me to come in. Tonsils of course huge and I needed help. Doc told me they don’t see people with flu like symptoms right now.
Which was a lie. A whole White family was in with a cough and they were so appalled when I told them what the doctor told me. Not appalled enough to speak on my behalf but ya.
Long story short, y’all are arguing over taking a drug that black people simply cannot get. And also now neither can the people who actually need it. I swear we have a dumb ass president.
