#RevengeoftheSith is absolutely the most emotionally powerful star wars film, i said what i said.
some notes:

the juxtaposition of the two "medical" scenes (padmé having the twins and anakin putting on vader's mask/suit) is so well done and saddening– the twins' birth right next to vader's birth...and he doesn't even know his child(ren) are being born at that moment.
+ the film as a whole truly sets up vader's redemption in ROTJ well.
+ and the score! the usage of bits of vader's theme as well as anakin and padmé's theme throughout the film at choice moments complements the storyline and their character/relationship development perfectly, like when padmé arrives on mustafar.
+ the audience learns to associate their theme with their happy moments on naboo in episode II and hearing it again here evokes those memories, reminding us of what once was and what could've been.
+ and it's interesting and fun to take note of where vader's theme appears at some of anakin's darkest (and therefore developmental) moments having watched the original trilogy and being so familiar with its melody and what it symbolises.
