One of my favorite times of the academic year is when we recognize students for their excellence. Since we can't celebrate with them in person this year, I'm shouting out the Property/Land Use/Preservation/Enviro students who received awards! Here goes:

Congrats to @demery_ormrod16 '21 for winning the Thomas F. Gallivan, Jr. Memorial Award - given to the best-performing student in 1L Property. The award is presented in honor of a late UConn Law professor, for whom my chair/endowment is named.

Finally, huge congratulations to @louanne_cooley '20 for winning the @CCM_ForCT Award! Louanne is a brilliant student who has served as the RA of the Center for Energy & Environmental Law & excels at pretty much everything.

While we can't celebrate in person, I hope each of you - & all the law students who made it through the spring semester 2020 w/an award or not! - know that your professors are watching you, appreciate you, & care about you. Onward!
