Just finished the episode with the three challenges from Aang’s old friend and realized I keep expecting this show to be a lot more sinister than it actually is lol

Ok the scene with avatar roku in the temple made me a little emotional that was incredible

Thinking about starting a tally of times Katara stands by helplessly and yells “HOLD ON!” at someone who’s clearly not going to let go of whatever they’re hanging on to for dear life

Also sarcasm aside, I’m so impressed with the overall storytelling so far. How did y’all just watch this on regular TV as kids? I feel like it adds so much more value to the series to see the episodes in order

I was a little upset about the romantic overtones between Katara & Aang at first (like wow, ANOTHER scripted relationship between two m/f main characters. How original) but it’s actually really cute

....so are there MORE magical flying bison anywhere cause I will absolutely lose my mf shit
