I’m sorry but a minister turning round and basically saying “remember the nurses and supermarket staff have to work through this, so teachers shouldn’t be moaning” is unacceptable. Whilst true, and they deserve all the respect. All of it. But there is a couple of things he’s

Neglecting to mention while he’s patronising them.
1. Teachers have all been working with the children of key workers this whole time.
2. 95% of teachers I know are worried sick about the children they teach & want nothing more than to see them and teach them.

3. The same 95% are not worried for themselves. They are worried about the children they teach. Especially those who are too young to fully understand why they can’t hug their friend.
4. He is a patronising d-bag
