For the last few weekends, @gracek_27, @mattkc7, and myself have been working on an app for our friends who own local "mom-n-pop" restaurants that are staying open during the COVID-19 pandemic... /thread https://www.shopify.com/partners/blog/shopify-app-challenge-winners

Last month, we learned that restaurants are charged ~30% commission fees when a customer orders via a 3rd-party app.

A restaurant's profit margin can be ~30%. This means restaurants effectively break even.

Without that 30% commission fee those delivery-services charge
