1- The most ridiculous myth “shehu is a tijjaniya sufi”

2- Today’s sufis claiming Danfodio is a sufi is like the today’s shia claiming Ali, Fatima, Hassan and Hussein were shia. (I seek refuge in Allah from such blasphemy)

Anyone who has read ONE page of shehu’s writings dedicated his entire life to fight this menace he’s ascribed to today.

10-If my memory serves me right, In his book “Ihya’u sunnah” Danfodio gave a fatwa
“any mosque drums are beaten in it must be demolished and reconstructed with a different clay”
Today these sufis march with drums on mawlid but still claim they are on danfodiye’s understanding.

11- Shehu died 203 years ago not 800 or 900years,
His works, that of his son (Bello atiku) and his brother (Abdullahi gwandu) are still preserved intactly.
This makes it easy to then know his creed, beliefs and if he belonged any sect and how he interpreted islam.

12- The irony is that most ideologes shehu fought are guilty of the same Ghuluw (excessiveness) and Bidia (innovation in worship) his so called followers of today are.
