1/ Just got mansplained by a pcp who is giving an elderly patient Xanax (4x a day) to cope w/ her panic attacks (which are not panic attacks)

He also told her to stop seeing me because I was making her talk about anxiety, which was making the anx worse...

2/ There is so much wrong w/ this I don’t even know where to start

How is this real life & how do we educate mds on the #anxiety cycle if they talk over us? #cbtworks

3/ He is literally making her anx worse & when I offered him resources & lit his response “oh I know the literature”
