We obsess over the ability to “cut people off”, but still carry habits that are more toxic than the people we abandon on the side of our life’s road. But go off.
This is me talking to myself as well. But sometimes, we use people as excuses to not deal with our own character flaws.

“They’re toxic.”

Nah, bruh. You’re triggering.
This does not mean that every person is good for you, by any means. Nor does this mean you should grant everyone uninhibited access to you. That’s not healthy.
However, we must learn to discern the difference between bad characters in our life and a life struggling with bad character.
Because what you don’t want is to look back over your life, and see the trail of bodies left your wake in the name of “peace.”
