My +u theories

Hello I have a lot of thoughts and theories on this new comeback so I want to get them out of my head and organize them. If you come across this thread just know that they are literally a grain of salt in the +u universe, they aren't right , but not wrong either they are theories

1. They are trapped in Magic Island:
I believe the boys are trapped in Magic Island, because if we go back to the Magic Island MV
the last thing we know is that they destroyed the island. Now if we take a look at the Intro in
CYSM comeback stage+

What we see is them trying to escape the island that is in flames and falling apart, but they
fail and fall leading to the train being destroyed. Ultimately leaving them all stuck in Magic Island.

2. The boys are being controlled:
I believe the boys are being controlled by The Cat (magical entity) because of two primary reasons
First in the MV for Magic Island one of the last scenes is that the train appears and they end
up getting hit and falling unconscious. +

Once again following the intro to the CYSM comeback stage we are assuming that this is the
continuation of the events in the MI MV. The boys are awake and escaping the island on the
train. who is the train? The Cat+

From this point forward is that I believe that the boys are being controlled. Also if we look at their CYSM performance , they are wearing the white outfits which make
them look like they are puppets/dolls and a part in the choreo also looks like they are being
controlled.+

3. What the cat (magic entity) means to me:
-The cat is a representation of their fears , negative emotions and inner struggles
- The Cat has always hurt or scared them
-I think that the cat wants to over power the boys with negativity and isolation.

4.What does the cat want?:
The cat wants to break their friendship and have each one of them become lonely. As we
know The Dream Chapter: Eternity is all about the reality of having fall out with your friends
and trust issues and ultimately how it affects us individually+

I want to add that the cat is maybe making them realize the reality of their problems , but I
think the cat is taking a very forced and harsh method towards it. ( The cat thinks that
the only way for them to solve their problems is by not being together)+

Ok so I think the cat does have some control over the boys , but not completely since
because of the concept photos I think they have some conscious that they are in a situation (
its like they are in and out of dream state) and the cat wants full control over them+

5. The voodoo doll:
The voodoo doll is the key to having full control over the boys, that is something that the cat
doesn't have. Who does? Initially it was Yeonjun's doll , but by the end of Run away MV ,
Taehyun had the doll+

I think this is why Yeonjun feels guilty, it was his responsibility to take care of his friends and
the doll, but the doll ended up with Taehyun all dirty and broken+

6. The Cat's target:
His target as of right now is Taehyun because he has the doll. Which is why he forces
Beomgyu to suffocate Taehyun in the CYSM MV. I think the scenes in red that were only
with Beomgyu represent the cats control over him to create chaos and hurt the boys+

I think the dark red represents what the cat is observing or controlling , which is Beomgyu , and
Beomgyu feels watched that's why he always looks directly at the camera.+

7. The Cat's initial intention:
I believe the cat didn't want them all stuck in Magic Island , I think he only wanted Taehyun because in the intro to CYSM performance we actually see Taehyun trying to catch up to the train.
Why wasn't he on it in the first place ? +

In my theory the train is the Cat , so I think the cat was actually trying to separate the boys
from the beginning making it easier for him to ultimately get the doll. But since the train
tracks fell he didn't have time to send the rest away. +

8. Eternally:
As many have speculated Eternally could be the next +u music video. I think in a way it
could fit very well in my theory because of the lyrics and style.+

The lyrics talk about being stuck in between a dream and a nightmare state , and wanting to
be saved. Also the song switches from these really dreamy melody to ones that are really
edgy and dark. It could represent the struggles they have with defeating the cat. +

Ok so that's it for now , this was kinda fun to write hehe. I still have so many questions and holes in my theory so I can't wait to read more theories and also see if txt gives us any answers
