the problem with white vegans arguing that animals should have rights, just like humans do, is that they do not see workers of color as humans and are perfectly happy to indulge in products made with slave labor as long as it's vegan

yes animal cruelty is bad, and yes the way animals are treated in meat industries is bad. but you can't acknowledge that without ALSO acknowledging that slave labor is bad, and the way workers of color are treated in producing approved vegan products is bad.

do you really care about the earth? do you really care about health and wellness? do you really care about being cruelty free? or do you just have a superiority complex and enjoy the ease of seeming "woke" without having to actually do anything that benefits the world?
