I remember when we did the 2nd Freelance Vs. CZW show, DJ asked fo see the card then said “let me tell you how to make it better” and tried to move his match to the main event, which I declined in doing.

He did force himself in the actual main (Isaias Vs. Lio Rush) as a run in to bump Isaias. He talked me into doing a run in too, even though I didn’t want folks to know that I owned Freelance at the time. When I asked if I would bump Lio or him he said “it wouldn’t make sense.”

He then decided he’d cut a promo at the end of the show to “give us the rub”, but basically buried @DazeZhaVoo saying he was “pretty good for a small guy” or something like that and called him “Isiah” every time.

When we would talk about doing Freelance Vs. CZW on the east coast, or booking our car, he’d always change the conversation to “that’d be cool, but I’d love to run a show at Logan”.
Yeah, I was dumb & naïve to believe anything he said at the time, but hey, you live and learn.
