I joined Twitter when JL released. I am only mutuals with one of them and don't even talk to any of them regularly. I have absolutely NOTHING to gain from them. I am seeing this from the outside. And I can say with utmost conviction that these guys have carried us this far.
THEY chose to start thinking critically about the next steps post JL when NO ONE had a SINGLE CLUE about what to do. Half of the "current leaders" didn't even believe the cut existed. Other half were AFRAID to look 'bad' in front of bloggers. MANY of them ridiculed believing fans
It was Vinaldo, Fiona and the other few who saw that a UNITED front was needed when every other 'Leader' [BLOGGER/YOUTUBER] was in it to gain followers and drive clicks to their channels. They played on both sides.
It was Fiona who utilised her own money and put up a website. Good progress, but not good enough. Something MORE was needed. While the current 'leaders' were still busy trying to increase traffic to their platforms, it was Vinaldo, Fiona and the other few who thought BIGGER
and BEYOND just t fandom. Enter RTSnyderCut acc. By ANY metric, it was obvious that any person who had an ounce of greed to further his/her name would put their name first. NOT VINALDO. No. He chose to be anonymous. I GUARANTEE no one else would have done this
THAT is what gained traction. THAT is what organised the entire fandom under one single group, at a time, when everyone was still bickering amongst themselves whether we should have an aggressive approach or sit idly and play nice. RTSnyderCut did that. Who was behind it? Vinaldo
Vinaldo is a CRITICAL thinker. A quality that many of us wish we had. He, along with just a handful of others foresaw and knew exactly how to bring everyone together so our voices could be LOUDER and heard much FURTHER when no one else could.
It's absolutely disgusting to see everyone bashing Vinaldo now, when the cut's release seems imminent. Don't forget HOW we got here. Don't forget WHERE we came from. He carried us when we could BARELY crawl. This is not an exaggeration.
I don't have to like Vinaldo or what he does from his personal account or who he's vocal against. But I can damn well see what he's done and what his character is like AND what he's been able to achieve for this movement. EVEN NOW he's not bragging about what he's done.
Light needs to be shed and credit needs to be given where credit is due. If it wasn't for this handful of people, we would still be walking around like lost sheep and be clueless. I'm grateful to EVERYONE in this fandom, but I'm ESPECIALLY grateful to these few individuals.
Everyone is free to feel how they wish to feel. I don't care. I am not here to 'take a side' or convince you of anything. This is how I have observed things from a distance since Nov 2017.
We are not home yet and need to continue driving this until. the. release.

There are MANY others who have gotten us to where we are and I thank each and every one of you guys. Seriously. But we just need to see this through first.
