Long shot asking on Twitter. But does anyone know the best way to find out family history and death records etc? Without spending hundreds of pounds. My Dad died in 2009 followed by his Mum my Nan which I got told a few years later by a pension company. I would really like info..

A quick update. The information I found out my Nan actually died 8 years ago today. 25th of May 2012! Coincidentally after spending the last few days searching for answers. If it wasn’t for a nightmare I had I wouldn’t of been so adamant on finding answers. Dreams tell you things

And just to make this thread even weirder. My Mums mum died when I was a year old and it’s her birthday today too. One Nans birthday and one Nans death anniversary
