Government should indeed respect free choice! But I thought the argument was that they shouldn't have to pay for it? It is kind of amazing, the demands for a small government so that the free market can do its thing, and then as soon as the free market fails you're begging for the government to come save the private institutions you demand operate free of government interference.

If the federal government wants to fund private schools, fine I guess, but then those schools should have to abide by the rules governing public schools - which I am guessing you guys don't want because freedom.
