Fear that the Labour members who think Yvette Cooper is racist ultimately don't want the red wall, or much of the country, back.
That's not about making the case for immigration by the way (though Labour's been talking about that for 10 years) and assuming people won't change, but if abstaining on ending FoM is racist what are the many former (even current) Labour voters who'd have voted for it?
