A year ago, @annatodd announced that we were getting a sequel!
So here’s an appreciation thread to the original and the new cast:

Let’s start with the woman who carried the whole movie: Josephine Langford. What can I say? She’s the perfect Tessa.
Cannot wait to see her glow up on awc

Onto ours truly, Hero Beauregard Faulkner Fiennes Tiffin. Our perfect Hardin Scott.
He is gonna break our hearts on awc and we all know it

Next up: Shane. He portrays Landon Gibson so beautifully. He is so kind and there is such a comforting thing about him. He deserves way more appreciation.
I hope we’ll be getting more scenes with him on awc and we know he’s gonna be perfect!

Inanna. She portrayed Molly Samuels exactly how I had pictured her while reading the books: gorgeous, snarky and a long resting bitch face. If people hate her, it’s because Inanna did her job. She nailed it!
But hey, cannot wait to see her getting slapped on awc

Khadijha: the Steph I had always dreamed of. She was exactly what I had imagined while reading the books and she did a great job as Tessa’s supportive friend and roommate. Those who haven’t read the books would totally trust her!
Let’s see what she’s got for us on awc

Samuel Larsen is an amazing Zed Evans. The perfect bad boy vibe. But we got robbed from most of his screen time. He deserved better. He’s a great actor and I’ve loved him ever since Glee, a true sweetheart.
Let’s hope awc will do him some justice with more screen time!

Pia Mia. I was disappointed with Tristan not being a boy, ngl. But we can’t hate her: she gave us a nice Tristan + a great song to the movie’s soundtrack. Plus, let’s not forget it’s thanks to her that we got that iconic deleted scene!
Hope we’ll see more of her in awc

Dylan. He was not the Noah I had imagined but he did a great job. The proof is that if I hadn’t read the books, I’d believe he was Tessa’s brother and not her boyfriend on that 1st scene. He’s super sweet and naive, just as Noah should be!
