We are now quickly coming up to WW2 civilian deaths in the UK. They were 67k, we are on 62k.

There have been no bombing raids, there has been no enemy firing rockets into London.

There has been a virus, which was dealt with successfully in most countries.

The UK is the outlier

The graph above uses the official figures of 35k deaths. Total deaths (if we count all excess like Belgium) should be up to 9k per 10 million.

That makes the UK 9 times worse than most countries on that list.

UK is 9 times worse than 14 countries in Europe.

Imagine if we had 9 times more murders or rapes than these countries.

9 times more people dying of heart attacks or cancer than 14 countries in Europe.

We would kick the government out, quickly, and start again.

However, the UK population is living in cognitive dissonance. "Impossible, that we are that much worse. And look at the other bad countries, like Italy and Spain. Not so bad, here in UK."

Not true. Look at EuroMomo excess deaths figures:

We are worse:

England is especially bad keeping 15-64 year olds alive.

In England they die 3 times more than in Italy, Spain, or France, on average.

(And also 12 times more than in Northern Ireland!)

It looks like we have 5,000 deaths in that 15-64 category, when France, Italy, and Spain have only 4,000 of the "young ones" dying of Covid.

No matter how we look at it. Its catastrophic.

They really all have to go.
