It& #39;s offensive how these nearly all white, privileged, often affluent, and, above all, entitled antivaxxers love likening themselves to oppressed peoples, their favorite analogies being to Jews during the Holocaust, African-American slaves, blacks during the civil rights era. 2/

Antivaxxers making these comparisons are so tone-deaf and oblivious to what real oppression and persecution look like that they misappropriate examples of real oppression as having anything to do with their "struggle." 3/3
