Thread: "Emma" 2020- A (2nd) review, in pictures.
This is how Mr Knightley is introduced. I'm obviously not the target audience.

This is Emma's house. So grand. So many servants.

Whose house is this? Why does it look like a palace/ museum?
This comes right after the scene Frank Churchill rescues Harriet at Emma's house. Maybe this is Mr Knightley at home.
But why is he on the floor?

I don't think Mr Knightley's house is meant to look like Versailles.

People must be kidding when they praise the costumes. What is Emma wearing, especially in the 4th pic?

Mr Elton in this film looks like a fucking weirdo.

& why does Mr Knightley sit so close to Emma like a creep?

The romantic scene. I don't think I was meant to laugh, do you?
Emma doesn't get a nosebleed anywhere else in the film, she should get that checked by a doctor.
(Don't ask me why he swings his arms up at the end).
