With the likes of Mo Salah and co dominating the world stage as of recent years, the need for elite wingers at top clubs is at an all-time high.

With that being said,

In the thread below I will be using data to attempt to find the next, best European star winger. ⬇️
The thread will focus of the stats of the wingers in their respective leagues + CL

Please note, some of the the players play centrally often, this may impact certain metrics

Also, as expected, a lot of these stats are inflated by overall team quality.
DRIBBLING:
A winger must be able to take on his man 1v1, keep the ball well in tight spaces, and potentially carry the ball from deeper areas into danger zones.

The graph shows some of the best young wingers in relevant metrics.

Boga, ASM, Djenepo and Chouair all excel.
CREATIVITY:
Once the winger has created space for him self, he must be able to consistent create opportunities for his teammates.

The graph shows some of the best young wingers in relevant metrics.

Sancho, Hudson-Odoi, Nkunku and Pulisic excel.
GOALSCORING:
Today, most wingers should effectively be able to cut centrally and create goal-scoring opportunities for themselves.

The graph shows some of the best young wingers in relevant metrics.

Barnes, Thuram, Jota and Pulisic excel.
TWO-FOOTEDNESS:
Although not a must, it's useful for a winger to have the ability to go both inside and and outside their man with both feet.

The table shows some of the best young wingers in relevant metrics.

Jota and Djenepo excel.

(Central players generally do better here)
OUTPUT:
At the end of the day, goals win games, wingers who can both score and create goals are immensely valuable to teams of all calibre's

The graph shows some of the best young wingers in relevant metrics.

Sancho, Nkunku, Barnes, CHO and Bailey (very small sample size) excel
SUMMARY:
All of these players are interesting porspects, but I'll give a run down on the players that interest me the most⬇️

(Besides Sancho for obvious reasons)
Christopher Nkunku – RB Leipzig (22) 🇫🇷

Athletic, creative and technically astute, Nkunku has been immense for Leipzig this season and would be a good move for any club this summer
Harvey Barnes – Leicester City (22) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

One of the fastest players on the list, Barnes is good with both feet and a very promising goalscorer

His skillset makes him very unique, and Leicester should be excited for what's yet to come for the electric winger.
Christian Pulisic – Chelsea (21) 🇺🇸

Outstanding in almost every metric, Pulisic looks set to explode any minute now.

Even whilst perhaps lacking the same physical ability as some of the others in the list, Pulisic more than makes up for it with his top class technical level.
Callum Hudson-Odoi – Chelsea (19) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

One of the youngest players on the list, there's a reason Hudson-Odoi is so highly rated by coaches and fans alike, boasting such physical and technical levels for somebody so young is very rare, even in today's footballing world.
Honorable Mentions:

Bailey - Fast, 1v1 threat, can shoot off dribble, lacks key decision making

Rashica - Fast, 1v1 threat, can shoot off dribble, his team is awful so his stats are unconvincing in 19/20

Thuram - Total athlete, end-product, aerial threat, lacks agility
