As much as I feel sad for the loss of any innocent person and in this case Aya, I don't agree with raising money to personally give to a family who openly support mass murders like Assad. If you really want to then give it in charitable causes to those in need on behalf of Aya.
I know this may seem controversial to some. But Assad is responsible for deaths rapes and torture of millions of people. Millions are living without homes, without food, children have been orphaned, women raped, and those who support such a man, i got no words for them.
Deen, politics, the situation of your brothers and sister in the Ummah, everything should play a part in the actions we do and our intentions. Which is why its best to research whatever we do first.
I'm not going to expose his handle so that they don't get any hate messages in their time of mourning, but here's just abit of evidence for those who requested
It's important to have principles and morals that are defined by your Deen and to always stand by them no matter the situation. Many people won't like you, but if you goal is just to be liked by everyone then you're lost tbh.
Some people may be misunderstanding. I do not take her to account for her father's views. May Allah have mercy on her. Build the well or Masjid in her name directly through a charity. But I do not support raising money to be given to her family that's all, that's my view.
This thread is not against Aya, nd its not against the Shia. This thread is against raising money to be given directly to her family. Instead of giving your donations to those who support Assad, give your money to the millions of victims of Assad, the poor, the orphans, the needy
As I've clearly stated in the first tweet, give your donations directly to charitable causes on behalf of Aya. Think the best of her and she is innocent of her fathers views. We all will die one day and will wish for sadaqa jariya on our behalf.
