A thread on How I met @GimmickMaseko and his impact in my life and his close friends. It's gonna be hard to summarise 12 years of laughter and joy but I'll try.

So it was waaaayyyy back in 2008, Grade 1. He and this one kid Joseph Musungaie were new in the school and had these reef type brick school shoes and you know as kids Toughees was the only school shoe we saw best to wear.

So we were like the "cool" kids in our school, we were the soccer players. One day at break we were playing soccer down at the field so Gimmick and Joe came down to ask to play and a friend of mine, Rowan and I laughed at their school shoes.

Bare in mind I wore those woolies kicks, amaBorn Free. of course we let them play and that's how we became friends. We met through football. So a period or two after that break I get called outside by my teacher and she tells me I'm in trouble for bullying...

Hebanna Bullying?? Okay now I'm confused. So here I am waiting outside with my teacher not knowing who the fuck I bullied... about 2-5 minutes later Gimmick pulls up with his teacher, crying...

Because I'm stupid I'm laughing inside asking myself why this nigga is crying, ah then they start shouting at me bathi mina I bullied him nywere nywere, so now I'm just so confused cause I thought we were cool? Now he accused me of bullying, so i was mad mad

Okay 2nd break comes and I was just angry.The ball was mine so I refused to take it out so that nobody could play. I stayed in class that day and Gimmick, Joe, Rowan and the rest of the crew came to find me. I don't remember us talking shit threw but we were friends from that day
