I just Watched Titanic (The movie) for the 999th time and the thought of sharing crazy, bizarre, annoying and amazing facts about the Biggest ship and it’s sinking disaster hit me.. Some facts will be amusing while some will annoy you for sure.

1. There was no Jack and Rose on the ship.

E shock you? Yeah! You saw that right.The Jack and Rose romance story was infused by the producer of the movie (James Cameron) to spice it up.Nah! Don’t feel stupid for shedding tears for them when you saw the movie,most people did.

2. One of titanic’s funnels was Fake

Only three of Titanic’s four funnels were functional—the fourth was a dummy installed because it made the ship look more beautiful and was made into a ventilation shaft for the kitchen. So the fourth one is more like a makeup to do shakara.

3. A drunk guy was one of the only survivors.

Charles Joughin was the chief baker on the ship. He survived the sinking in the most incredible fashion.
While everyone was panicking, Baba was busy drinking all the whiskey he could find. See? Booze is not totally your enemy.

4. The Ship’s official Musicians had a tough Job.

i.First-class passengers were given a music book containing 352 songs. Musicians on board were required to know them all, in case requests were made.
ii. They continued to play as the Titanic went down to calm the passengers.

5. The 700 third-class passengers had to share two bathtubs.

Yeah! Two fvcking bathtubs.
How hard can it be in a school hostel or face me i slap you house?
The total number of third-class passengers ranged from 700 to 1,000 and they all had to share two bathtubs.

6. It is rumored that a few men dressed up as women to get a spot on a lifeboat.

Well, it’s just a survival tactics, i’d do the same if i was in their shoes. Anything to survive that horrific night. Just imagine Dangote disguising as a woman just to stay alive

7. There were at least 13 couples celebrating their honeymoon on Titanic.

Unlike what we were told in the movie story, there were at least 13 couples who sailed on titanic as their honeymoon celebration.
Imagine after surviving R/ship saga only to die on your honeymoon.

8. No african blackman was on titanic.

Hurray!!!
if you understand the reason behind this, then probably you won’t attack me for rejoicing.
The racism game was so strong then that not a single African was allowed to near the titanic, not even as a furnace worker. You see God?

9. The life boat on board could have saved a total Number of 1,157 lives instead it saved just 700.

Each life boat was designed for the weight of 65 men but the first boat left the ship carrying just 25 first class passengers and a Dog to avoid congestion .

10. Did you know there was another ship Named “Californian” that could have gotten to titanic few hours before it sank?

Yeah, Californian was so close that they could see the SOS flare but the captain gave no order to rescue them. Well, it sank few years after Titanic too.
