So, i admit that this weekend was a a busy one for me and i didn't quite get to do this...

Here goes! Branding! Branding!! Branding!!! What is branding?

Branding is simply identifying the unique core idea of your business(product, service, individual personality) that connects to a universal human truth and delivering that core idea consistently.

While branding has to do with having a business name, a logo and wonderful slogan. It goes beyond all that. It is more about what your customers/ target public feel about your business. It is more on the intangible than the tangible.

While we are consumed as business people to build our brand from within, we always have great ideas about who our brand should be; we must understand that branding is external.

So branding allows your business to be identified easily from the crowd of mutually related businesses...your competition! It also allows you hone in on your target audience and streamlines your communication. So you don't waste resources marketing to everyone.

Remember,
- Branding must be consistent.
- Branding is more emotional than functional.
- Branding is more intangible than tangible.
- Branding is more external than internal.
- Branding must be connected to a UHT (Universal Human Truth).
- Branding must have a core idea.
