Rakesh Roshan had initially planned to make Kaho Na Pyaar Hai with @iamsrk , but SRK rejected the film.

Previously SRK had rejected Karan Arjun too ( which he ended up doing eventually ), the constant rejection irked Sr. Roshan a lot.

Sr. Roshan is an egoistic man, he can't handle things maturely which is quite evident through his interviews during Raees-Kabil clash, Kangana fiasco &Anurag Basu Controversy!

Everytime his ego is hurt, he runs towards media to start a negative campaign or to vent in interviews!

Media was already against SRK due to his anti-media film in pipeline Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani!

Sr. Roshan took full advantage of the situation and started a negative campaign against SRK & also 1 other actor!

There was only one topic floating in the media "SRK is Finished"

Roshan smartly released KNPH between Mela & PBDHH with one week gap amidst all the negative reports in media against both the movies.

Both the movies were heavily criticized & KNPH was showered with praises with one common LINK in every article
"SRK is finished" !!

Media sabotaged SRK's every film in the kitty, the media bullying (powered by Roshans) was so disturbing for SRK that Gauri Khan confessed that once she had to hide India Today away from SRK!
