While @BrookeRollinsTX was CEO of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, her think tank advocated for expanding and deregulating the H-1B visa worker program.
"Failings and weaknesses" of our immigration system include: we do not give out enough H-1B visas or green cards. Put another way, we are not selling out nearly enough American workers.
Rollins& #39; TPPF also advocated for expanding and deregulating programs like H-2A -- which deprive American workers of job opportunities and actually contribute to illegal immigration due to "temporary" workers overstaying their visas.
Rollins& #39; think tank concluded the "solution" to illegal immigration is giving out so many visas that it just stops being a problem while making as many concessions as possible to cheap labor exploiters. So, the exact opposite of Trump& #39;s 2016 platform.
While more than 36 million are unemployed, the administration& #39;s chief of domestic policy is basically a veteran Koch-esque lobbyist who has facilitated the selling out of America. https://www.texaspolicy.com/the-ineffcient-u-s-immigration-system-a-texas-perspective">https://www.texaspolicy.com/the-ineff...
If you want to demoralize your base, letting @jaredkushner crown people like Brooke Rollins as chief of domestic policy is a good way to go about it. @realDonaldTrump needs to know that if this continues, his supporters won& #39;t flip for another candidate, but will just stay home.
