Here's a thread for my How I Met Your Mother rewatch!! I'll be tagging with #himym if you want to mute :)
Fun fact - this is the first sitcom I ever loved!!! It was my gateway drug to all other comedy shows.
#himym

Barney: "Just once when I say 'suit up', I wish you'd put on a suit!"
Ted: "I did! That one time..."
Barney: "IT WAS A BLAZER!"
wowwww I've missed them

Barney: "Lesson one - lose the goatee. It doesn't go with your suit."
Ted: "I'm not wearing a suit."
Barney: "Lesson two - get a suit. Suits are cool! Exhibit A."
I'VE MISSED BARNEY SO MUCH #himym

HI HAVE YOU MET TED
#himym

Ted just said he was 27... I'm eight months younger than Ted was in season 1. This is a startling revelation
#himym

Wowww early seasons Barney/Robin were *perfection* lol, I'm on the episode where he pays her to say inappropriate things on the air
#himym

I'm finally downloading #himym, should have done this eight years ago!!! There's a chance a Barney/Robin video is in your future

CUTIES #himym
Barney's recipe for a Thanks-tini (cranberry juice, potato vodka, and a bouillon cube) actually sounds pretty good
#himym

I'm a Minnesotan, so I just love it whenever Marshall goes full Minnesotan haha
#himym

The Eriksen Family Seven Layer Salad with 16 cups of mayo, gummy bears, and potato chips is the funniest Minnesotan joke on this show. I can't wait to move back home

#himym

I love how he just casually puts his arm on the back of the booth behind her, they were so couple-y right from the start. This slowburn was cinematic excellence (until it wasn't, but that's not their fault lol *sobs*) #himym
DAMN IT TRUDY, WHAT ABOUT THE PINEAPPLE?!?! #himym
Barney: "You don't bring a date to a wedding. That's like bringing a deer carcass on a hunting trip!"
#himym

THEY ARE PERFECT #himym
YEP STILL PERFECT #himym
Robin: "You and me? That's insane. If you even thought about it for one second--"
Barney: "But I have thought about it! For three seconds! And it makes a lot of sense."
I think about this scene almost every single day, I'm not kidding #himym

Say what you will about season 9, but the way they finally answered the "What is Barney's job?" question is some of the best continuity I've ever seen in my life. Just reached the first time he said "Ha, please." and it's so much funnier now

Lily: "Oh I'm just tired, and when I get tired, I get cranky."
Sandy: "Really? I couldn't imagine you cranky."
Lily: (mocking) "Really? I couldn't imagine you cranky."
This scene just cracks me up knowing that they're married in real life

The fact that Alexis Denisof and Amy Acker guest-starred in the same episode but didn't interact is CRIMINAL
#himym

"Slap Bet" is one of the most iconic sitcom episodes in the history of television. Right up there with "The One Where Everybody Finds Out" imo. SO GOOD

#himym: *28 year olds staying out drinking until 3 am even though they all have real jobs*
Based on the rest of this thread, you've probably guessed that I'm much more of a Barney/Robin shipper... But DAMN that Ted/Robin break-up always gets to me.
