What one item of produce would you never miss if it went away? Not necessarily that you dislike it, just that it’s so blah you wouldn’t even notice if it stopped being produced or stocked where you shop.

I nominate yellow squash.
A lot of people are posting their most loathed produce, and I’m here for the *strong* emotions. I mean, we’re all under stress, so hate-tweet away on the fruits and veggies, but I want to clarify that I just meant the one you think is most blah.
I don’t hate yellow squash. I’d estimate that I’ve eaten at least part of a thousand yellow squashes in my lifetime, and most likely will another thousand. It’s just boring. And the only times I can remember specifically buying it was to make grilled veg kabobs more colorful.
I’ve read all of your loathes and your “meh”’s and here is a comprehensive list of the produce that no one mentioned. There are some surprises!

I assume these are the fruits + veggies that if they went missing, people would demand an explanation or at least think it was weird:
Corn, peas, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, peaches, plums, cherries, apples, mangoes, butternut squash, (non-grape) tomatoes, (non-white) mushrooms, artichokes, fennel, sweet potatoes, fresh spinach, arugula, blueberries, raspberries, grapefruit, kiwi, red onion.
