Continuous thread: I'm already starting 2021 draft work. Haven't finished (or really started) how I'll grade these players numerically, but I'm doing initial notes on players I watch

Over the coming weeks/months, I'll likely continue updating this thread
First, Gregory Rousseau, defensive end out of Miami. Don't know measurables yet, so can't put that in. I wasn't super high on his 2019 tape, but monster run defender, and rushes super well inside

Comp: Jadeveon Clowney
Next: Dylan Moses, LB from Alabama

I freaking love Moses. Super smart player, set fronts for Saban, stack and shed, sound in gaps, never oversteps, range. Needs work in coverage (not a ton of experience), and injury questions, but starting MIKE LB in 2021

Comp: Darius Leonard
Marvin Wilson, DT, Florida State

The 2018 tape was rough, but he showed considerable improvement in 2019. Hand work was much better (rip and swim), and absolute monster in run game. Needs to shed weight and get better athletically, but raw potential is there

Comp: Derrick Brown
Shaun Wade - One of my immediate favorite players in the 2021 class. Super smart player, great size and frame, good footwork and patience.

Some concerns about athleticism currently, and he's probably not a full-time slot in pros. Still, great profile for boundary cornerback
Quincy Roche - I can't decide what I think about him. I like the speed profile, but small for the scheme, doesn't generate great power, and I don't think he sets a great edge

Get him to 3rd down, and he'll be very good, but some concerns for me about ability to play all 3 downs
Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri

I'm sure I have many Missouri fans for followers, and I'll say, do like him a lot. Makes a ton of sense at WILL for 2021 if KC is looking for one

Needs some tightening up in skills, but very good athlete. Reminds me a lot of Devin Bush last year
Tyler Shelvin, NT, LSU

Shelvin is your typical 1 technique. Strong hands, great anchor, hard to move in run game. Won't provide much of anything as pass rusher, and not a fantastic athlete, but if you're looking for a Pennel replacement in 2021, Shelvin makes sense
Jabril Cox, LB, NDSU/LSU

I loved Cox's tape. Exceptional in coverage, great athlete. Great in man coverage, carries seam, transitions around field well. Even played in slot

Issue is that he didn't have a ton of reps in the box, and I didn't see any stack and shed out of him
Micah Parsons, LB, Penn St

He's very good. High IQ, excellent in run game. Size to stack and shed, speed to slip. Great tackler, range, covers underneath well, robs routes

I don't think he's an amazing athlete, and in coverage, he wasn't asked to play man or run very much.

LB1
Paddy Fisher, LB, Northwestern

Late Day 2-Day 3 guy, but typical LB from the 80s. Big, burly, smart. Stack and shed, great tackler. Decent covering underneath

Bad athlete, slow transitions, doesn't have range, not explosive

If KC looking for big MIKE on Day 2-3, Fisher is that
Charles Snowden, LB, Virginia

Natural SAM LB. Can set the edge, drop into intermediate zones, some rush moves off the edge. Good hands, good burst for pass rusher. Can kick inside on 3rd down. High IQ

Doesn't play with power, and stiff with transitions. Won't do much in cov.
Azeez Ojulari, DE, Georgia

I really like Ojulari. Quick first step, burst, wins well up arc. I didn't see him play the edge like Spags teaches, but has different ways to dominate run game, including spilling double teams. Should easily learn. Has legitimate pass rush moves
Carlos Basham Jr., DE, Wake Forest

Favorite edge I've watched so far. Long, athletic, high motor. Dominant in run game, can set edge, spill quickly, chase from backside. Instantly helps on Day 1

Pass rush wise, he had some developed moves, but needs more refinement. Play inside
Aidan Hutchinson, DE, Michigan

A lot to like. Good athletic profile, great size. Good in run game, really good rushing inside

My main thing was, I was disappointed in his reps rushing off edge, especially against NFL guys (Wirfs, Wells, Alaric Jackson, Alex Leatherwood).
