Okay so I have decided to share some of my tips that personally helped me combat my self loathing and that helped me to be kinder to myself.
1 . Train yourself out of using negative words. Stop saying "ugly" or "fat" or "useless" or whatever it is that you say. Even jokingly, do NOT say those words about yourself. Train them out of your brain.
2. All of those harmful things you say about yourself, imagine saying them to your best friend, or partner, or parent, or any loved one. You would never do that to them, show yourself that same love and respect.
3. If you do find yourself having a negative thought, follow it up with a good one. Bad skin day? Your eyes still glow. Your body feels off? Your hair is glossy af. Unproductive week? You are still kind. Counteract the bad with the good.
4. I got this watching @Rwlshmakeup. Look at an old picture of your younger self and imagine saying these hurtful things to them and how upset they would be. Why would are you okay with upsetting that same person now?
5. LISTEN TO YOUR FRIENDS. When they compliment you, say thank you. They& #39;re not lying to you, you just don& #39;t always see what they see. When you compliment them they don& #39;t always see it but you do - it works both ways.
6. Block, unfollow, unfriend, mute. If someone or something makes you feel more insecure about yourself, don& #39;t subject yourself to seeing it.
7. Stop comparing yourself!!! Beauty comes in so many different ways. A sunset is beautiful but so are dogs and they are nothing alike - it does not change the fact that they are both beautiful.
I& #39;m not an expert and not all of this will work for every person but if one thing I have said helps one person I will be extremely pleased. Every day is a day to learn and grow - we all still have a long way to go but if you can accept and love yourself more it& #39;s a great starthttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đź’›" title="Yellow heart" aria-label="Emoji: Yellow heart">
