Was stuck in a spider’s web, I risked my life to save them and it was worth it
He doin a fly
This is a cockchafer beetle, or may bug, as you only see them in May - they BANG into your window all evening long to get at the light, I could probably get a whole handful on a good night. They’re giant doofy bugs that hum loudly and fly in slow motion and I love them
Also; males have seven leaves (or the antlers, whatever you wanna call them) and females have six, so this is a good boy!
It's past midnight but there's usually a tonne of them outside right now, so tomorrow idk maybe I'll just catch 12 of them and we'll throw a little party

I'm a responsible adult in lockdown, who stays in and plays with bugs instead of going to the beach in a pandemic
@ the number of people annoyed that I have so cruelly robbed a spider of dinner; tbh the spider wouldn’t have got him. The one on the windowsill is tiny. He’d have got out alone but would have been covered in old web ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
